16th Borneo Bird Festival 2026

Borneo’s big birding weekend is back for its 16th year, put together by the Borneo Bird Club with the Sabah Forestry Department. There’s the Sabah Bird Race, guided birdwatching walks, photo competitions and workshops on bird ID and conservation, all at the Rainforest Discovery Centre. A good excuse for early mornings in the forest with a pair of binoculars.
